목(NECK) 부위 영어표현

▶보통 목을 말할 때는 목구멍(throat)을 말하는데 편도선(tonsil)관는 다르게 표현한다.

throat는 목구멍 즉 식도를 말하고 편도선(tonsil)은 사람의 입속 양쪽구석에 

하나씩 있는 평평하고타원형인 임파선(lymphatic gland)을 말한다.

▶ 가래(phlegm,sputum)는 침(saliva)과는 성질이 다른데 묽은가래는 thin sputum, 

된가래는 thick sputum, 피석인 가래는 bloody phlegm로 표현한다.
