Nicolas Cage going broke?

By Hwang Aesol   Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage is struggling with financial trouble. The Wall Street Journal reported on Nov. 3 that the actor is trying to sell real estate and owes taxes to the IRS. Now, the Hollywood star is blaming his financial woes on his ex-manager and sued him for $20 million. According to the article, the star has amassed several properties around the world over the last few years. His collection included two apartments on New York's Fifth Avenue, a Barbarian castle in Germany, a house in Beverly Hills, California that Dean Martin used to live in, and a townhouse in Bath, England, among others. Cage's financial struggles do not leave many options for him but to try to sell several of his extravagant properties during one of the most difficult times for the real-estate market in years. In addition, the IRS demanded taxes on the actor's two New Orleans properties in August and now both estates will be sold at auction on Nov. 12. The Leaving Las Vegas star claimed in court that his former business manager, Samuel J. Levin, is responsible for his financial crisis because he gave bad advice.
